"UV molding" is a technology that allows for various designs to be applied to thin components. It shapes convex patterns of approximately 0.05 mm to 0.4 mm on one side of a film. Since it is molded using a mold, it can be made into any arbitrary 3D shape. In addition to being able to incorporate multiple designs within a single component, it also allows for flexible color variations through printing on the backside.
